The obvious answer is a second machine. The cheaper answer, if the Mac has the headroom, is to stop thinking in outputs and start thinking in sources.
Every one of these tools started as a workaround for something that annoyed us on a show. Then the workarounds got good enough to sell.
They look interchangeable in a feature list and are not remotely interchangeable in a rig. One never leaves the GPU; the other crosses a switch you do not control.
