What Is Test & Tag?

Inspect. Test. Certify.

Test and tag is the process of visually inspecting and electrically testing portable appliances to ensure they are safe to use in the workplace. Required under Australian WHS legislation and AS/NZS 3760, it protects your people and limits your liability.

Visual Inspection

Every item is physically examined for damaged cords, cracked insulation, bent pins, or signs of overheating before any electrical test is performed.

Electrical Testing

Using calibrated PAT testing equipment, we measure earth continuity, insulation resistance, and leakage current against Australian standards.

Tagging & Recording

Passed items receive a dated compliance tag. Failed items are quarantined and reported. Full test records are provided for your WHS documentation.
