Installing and updating a Bitstream plugin

Installing one of our plugins takes a couple of minutes. You’ll need administrator access to your WordPress site.

Installing

1. Download the plugin .zip from your order confirmation or the Downloads area of My Account.
2. In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
3. Choose the .zip, click Install Now, then Activate.
4. Enter your licence key on the plugin’s settings screen to enable updates.

Updating

With your licence active, updates appear under Dashboard → Updates and on the Plugins screen, just like any other plugin — click update and you’re done. We always recommend taking a quick backup before updating.

Updates not showing?

If updates aren’t appearing, it’s almost always an inactive or expired licence. Check the licence screen first, then see our troubleshooting guides or contact support.
